Our Story
Ten Six Construction was founded by Joe Ventresco, who has been drawn to the building trades since childhood. Working alongside his grandfather as a young boy, Joe learned the fundamentals of construction while helping fix people’s homes. This early experience sparked a passion that would shape his future career.
Throughout high school and college, Joe continued building his skills by framing houses with his cousin while running a landscaping business that helped put him through school. After graduating, he specialized in building decks before working for a painting contractor as a project manager.
In 2013, Joe became a construction manager for a commercial real estate firm, but entrepreneurship was always his goal. While working full-time, he continued taking on construction projects on the side until he finally established Ten Six Construction in 2021.
The skyline in our logo represents Youngstown, Ohio, where Joe grew up and first learned his construction skills from his grandfather.
